Brunel Racing's Design Team

Brunel Racing's cars are designed by 3rd year Motorsport and Mechanical Engineering students, with guidance from both the final year management team, and academic project supervisors at the university.

Some of the team's designers will next year be going on to take industrial placements, or to study towards a Masters degree, whereas others are in their final year and will graduate in Summer 2012.

The design team is split into groups based upon the area of the car on which they are working.

Bodywork

The aerodynamics and bodywork group is the responsibility of Florian Talou. It deals with the car's bodywork and aerodynamic devices, including projects ranging from the sidepods to the nosecone and crash structure.
