Brunel Racing's Design Team
Brunel Racing's cars are designed by 3rd year Motorsport and Mechanical Engineering students, with
guidance from both the final year management team, and academic project supervisors at the university.
Some of the team's designers will next year be going on to take industrial placements, or to study towards
a Masters degree, whereas others are in their final year and will graduate in Summer 2010.
The design team is split into groups based upon the area of the car on which they are working.
Aero, Bodywork & Drivetrain
The aerodynamics, bodywork and drivetrain group is the responsibility of Daniel Sheard. It deals with the
car's drivetrain, bodywork and aerodynamic devices, including projects ranging from the differential to the nosecone and crash structure.
