Brunel Racing had a successful weekend at Silverstone completing all static and Dynamic events.

The team completed scruitineering on friday morning, allowing the team plenty of time for the team to practice before starting the dynamic events on Saturday.

Unfortunately the weather was not kind on Saturday and did not allow the team to complete competitive times in acceleration and skid pan events. In the Sprint event later that day the team were able to set a good time which would have positioned the team in the top twenty, however unfortunately Brunel Racing were awarded a harsh penalty for leaving the circuit boundaries after the end of the lap.

Sunday was the endurance race which the team completed in a very respectable time of 31minutes and 31 Seconds. This placed the team in 11th position for endurance. Which was a fantastic result to top off a great weekend for the team.

Brunel Racing are now very much looking forward to the German Event in Hockenheim in two weeks time where we hope to achieve another great result!

The chassis is nearing completion, the engine is back on the dyno ready for mapping and many other components are very nearly finished.

This season we are hoping for an early build finish in order to increase our performance at both Formula Student UK in Mid July and Formula Student Germany at the beginning of August.
