Reverse Engineering with Faro

Representatives from Faro Technologies visited Brunel University today to demonstrate their metrology equipment.

Brunel Racing were pleased to be able to make use of this opportunity to use the FaroArm and LaserArm measuring tools to assist in reverse-engineering of the Quaife differential.

The highly accurate measurements obtained with Faro's help will enable effective manufacturing of our lightweight differential housing, which will require tolerances that could not have been achieved with more conventional measurement apparatus.

Our thanks go to Faro for taking the time to visit our workshop and demonstrate their machinery, and we hope to work with them again in the future.
