Driver Selection Round Two

Members of the team visited a wet Buckmore Park yesterday afternoon for the second round of the driver selection process.

16 Brunel Racing designers and managers fought it out in very difficult conditions at the Kent circuit, as we continue to evaluate who will have the chance to fill the four drivers' roles for BR-X at this Summer's Formula Student Competitions.

The 25-minute endurance race was hotly contested, but ultimately suspension designer Rob Still took the chequered flag to win the second team karting event.

We are fortunate to have a large number of highly talented drivers on the team this year, and after two karting events have a shortlist of up to eight drivers to fill the four competition seats.

The process will be ongoing throughout the year, with further karting events as well as track testing of BR-X planned in order to select the very best drivers.
